Greek Yogurt Brownies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main

01 - ½ cup sugar (white, brown, or no-sugar alternative)
02 - ½ teaspoon baking soda
03 - ¾ cup regular or gluten-free flour
04 - ½ cup cocoa powder
05 - ½ cup chocolate, finely chopped
06 - 1 cup vanilla yogurt (pick low-fat or non-fat)
07 - ½ cup your choice of milk

→ Optional

08 - 1 cup chocolate chips

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F and get an 8x8-inch pan ready by lining it with parchment paper.
02 - Melt the chopped chocolate in the microwave. After it cools for a minute or two, stir it together with sugar and yogurt until no lumps remain.
03 - Stir in the cocoa powder, flour, and baking soda just enough to combine. Slowly mix in the milk and fold in chocolate chips if you're tossing them in.
04 - Move the batter into the lined pan. Let it bake for 25-30 minutes—check with a toothpick; it should come out mostly clean.
05 - Let your brownies sit in the pan for 10 minutes, then place them on a wire rack to cool completely.

# Notes:

01 - Stays fresh up to 5 days if left at room temperature.
02 - Freezes great for 6 months max.
03 - Place a paper towel in the container to lock in moisture.
