White Garlic Sauce (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base Ingredients

01 - 1 1/2 cups milk or half-and-half
02 - 2 to 3 tablespoons of flour
03 - 2 tablespoons of olive oil
04 - 4 cloves of garlic, chopped finely

→ Seasonings

05 - 1/4 tsp salt
06 - 1/4 tsp dried oregano
07 - 1/4 tsp black pepper, ground

# Instructions:

01 - Pour olive oil into a skillet and warm it on medium heat.
02 - Toss in the minced garlic. Let it cook for around 3 minutes while stirring, until the smell is strong.
03 - Start whisking the flour (use about 2 tablespoons first), salt, pepper, and oregano into the skillet.
04 - Pour all the milk or half-and-half in at once, then whisk quickly. Keep stirring until the sauce thickens and starts bubbling, usually 3 minutes.

# Notes:

01 - Want it thicker? Stir some flour into milk until it forms a paste, then mix it into the bubbling sauce.
02 - Great as a topping for pasta, pizza, or other meals!
