Toasted Marshmallow Bars (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder.
02 - 1 cup salted butter.
03 - 2 teaspoons vanilla extract.
04 - 1 tablespoon hazelnut liqueur.
05 - 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips.
06 - 1/2 cup all-purpose flour.
07 - 1 teaspoon baking powder.
08 - 1 cup granulated sugar.
09 - Flaky sea salt.
10 - 2 ounces dark chocolate chunks.
11 - 4 large eggs, room temperature.
12 - 1-2 cups marshmallows.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat your oven up to 350°F. Make sure to line a 9x9 pan with parchment paper.
02 - Melt the butter with about 1 1/2 cups of the chocolate chips. Mix in sugar, liqueur, and vanilla.
03 - Beat the eggs until they’re frothy, then stir them into the chocolate blend.
04 - Mix together the flour, baking powder, sea salt, and cocoa powder. Then add the rest of the chocolate chips.
05 - Pour about half the batter into the pan and bake it for 20 minutes.
06 - Put marshmallows on top and broil for 1-3 minutes until they look golden and puffy.
07 - Spoon the other half of the batter over the marshmallows, sprinkle on chocolate chunks, and bake another 20 minutes.
08 - Let the whole thing sit for 20 minutes before slicing it up.

01 - You can make this ahead of time for easy gifting.
02 - Leave out the liqueur if you prefer it alcohol-free.
03 - Cutting works best once everything is cooled down.
