Vanilla Molten Cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - Salted butter, 6 tablespoons.
02 - Chocolate chips, semi-sweet, 1½ cups.
03 - Three eggs, at room temp.
04 - Granulated sugar, ½ cup.
05 - Vanilla extract, 2 tablespoons.
06 - 1/2 cup plus a couple tablespoons of flour (all-purpose).
07 - Unsweetened cocoa powder, 2 tablespoons.
08 - A ½ teaspoon of baking soda.
09 - Kosher salt, ½ teaspoon.
10 - Chopped dark or semi-sweet chocolate, 6 ounces.
11 - Sprinkle of flaky sea salt for garnish.

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven at 350°F and get the baking sheets lined with parchment.
02 - Melt chocolate chips with butter in the microwave. Whisk sugar and eggs until foamy, about 2 minutes. Stir in melted chocolate and vanilla, mixing until smooth.
03 - Add salt, cocoa powder, baking soda, and flour into the mix. Fold in chopped chocolate chunks. Pop the dough in the freezer for 30 minutes to stiffen it up.
04 - Shape dough into ¼-cup balls and place them on lined sheets. Let them freeze for 15-30 minutes to hold their shape.
05 - Place chilled balls about 2 inches apart and bake for 8-12 minutes. Edges should look firm, but the centers stay soft.
06 - Sprinkle some sea salt on top. Enjoy while warm or store them for up to 4 days.

# Notes:

01 - You can freeze the dough and keep it up to 3 months.
02 - If dough feels too runny, toss in more flour (1/4 cup at a time).
