Crispy Sweet Rosettes (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 tablespoon sugar.
02 - 1 cup milk.
03 - 2 eggs.
04 - 1 cup flour.
05 - Canola oil for frying.
06 - 2 teaspoons vanilla.
07 - Powdered sugar for dusting.
08 - 1/4 teaspoon salt.

# Instructions:

01 - Mix up the eggs with sugar and toss in the salt.
02 - Pour in flour, milk, and vanilla. Stir until smooth, but take it easy—don't overdo it.
03 - Warm up oil in a sturdy pan or deep fryer to 375°F.
04 - Let the rosette iron sit in the hot oil for 2 minutes to heat up.
05 - Dunk the hot iron in batter, about 7/8 of the way up, then quickly fry it in the oil.
06 - Let it cook for roughly 30 seconds until it turns golden brown.
07 - Move it to a rack lined with paper towels and carefully slide it off the iron.
08 - Sprinkle powdered sugar right before digging in.
