Hershey Kiss Cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup peanut butter.
02 - 1 large egg.
03 - 1/2 cup light brown sugar.
04 - 1/2 cup plus 1 tablespoon white sugar.
05 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
06 - 1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour.
07 - 1 teaspoon baking powder.
08 - 1 teaspoon fine salt.
09 - 1/2 cup and 2 tablespoons melted unsalted butter.
10 - 60 chocolate kisses, unwrapped.

# Instructions:

01 - Turn your oven on to 350°F. Cover a baking tray with parchment paper.
02 - Stir the flour, salt, and baking powder together until blended.
03 - Cream together the butter, peanut butter, and both sugars. Stir in the vanilla and crack in the egg.
04 - Slowly add the dry ingredients into the wet mix, keeping the mixer on a low setting.
05 - Scoop small lumps of dough (about a tablespoon) and roll into balls. Space them apart on the tray.
06 - Pop them in the oven and bake for roughly 10 minutes.
07 - Carefully press a chocolate kiss into the middle of each cookie while they’re still warm.
08 - Leave to rest for about 5-10 minutes before diving in.

# Notes:

01 - Yields close to 50 cookies.
02 - Make sure the chocolate is unwrapped before baking.
03 - Press the chocolate in while cookies are fresh from the oven.
