02 - 1 green onion, minced for topping
03 - 1/4 cup vegetable or neutral oil

05 - 1/2 onion, chopped into small pieces
06 - 1 pound boneless chicken (thighs or breast without skin)

→ Sauce

07 - 1 teaspoon sesame oil, toasted
08 - 1 tablespoon potato starch or cornstarch
09 - 2 teaspoons sesame seeds, toasted
10 - 2 tablespoons table sugar
11 - 1 cup water
12 - 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
13 - 2 tablespoons gochujang
14 - 2 tablespoons plain soy sauce

# Instructions:

02 - Mix the sauce ingredients together in a smaller bowl, then set it aside.
03 - Sprinkle the chicken pieces with starch and turn to coat them evenly.

02 - Use brown sugar or honey instead of white sugar if you like.
03 - Great for prepping meals ahead.
