Cinnamon Roll Cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 3 cups of plain flour.
02 - 1 1/2 tsp of baking powder.
03 - A pinch of salt (1/2 tsp).
04 - A stick of butter (1 cup), softened.
05 - 1 cup of white sugar.
06 - Two large eggs.
07 - Vanilla extract—about 2 tsp.
08 - 1/4 cup of melted butter (for filling).
09 - Packed brown sugar—1/2 cup.
10 - Cinnamon—about 1 1/2 tbsp.
11 - Powdered sugar, a cup.
12 - 2 tbsp of milk.
13 - 1 tbsp melted butter (goes in icing).
14 - 1 tsp of vanilla (used for icing).

# Instructions:

01 - Stir together the salt, flour, and baking powder.
02 - Cream together the sugar and butter until it’s airy, mix in eggs and vanilla, then fold in the dry ingredients.
03 - Spread dough on a floured sheet of parchment into a square about 13x13 inches.
04 - Combine cinnamon, brown sugar, and melted butter.
05 - Layer the filling evenly over the dough before rolling it tightly like a log.
06 - Wrap the roll and chill it in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
07 - Cut the roll into slices about 1/2 inch thick, then bake at 350°F for 10-12 minutes.
08 - Mix the ingredients for the glaze and drizzle over cookies once cooled.

# Notes:

01 - Turn the dough while chilling to keep it rounded.
02 - You can freeze the dough for up to three months.
03 - Let cookies cool fully before glazing.
