Snowy Nutty Cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/4 teaspoon salt.
02 - 3/4 cup of finely chopped nuts (you can use pecans, almonds, or walnuts).
03 - 2 1/4 cups regular flour.
04 - Extra powdered sugar to coat.
05 - 1/2 cup powdered sugar.
06 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
07 - 1 cup of butter, softened and unsalted.

# Instructions:

01 - Get your oven hot at 375°F and cover baking sheets with parchment paper.
02 - Blend the butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla together until light and smooth. Add in the flour and salt until it all comes together.
03 - Mix in the chopped nuts. If the dough is too sticky to handle, put it in the fridge to chill for a bit.
04 - Scoop out a tablespoon of dough, shape it into a ball, and set it on the cookie sheet.
05 - Let the cookies bake for 7-8 minutes, just until the bottoms turn light brown.
06 - When they’re warm, roll them gently in some powdered sugar.
07 - Pop the cookies on a wire rack so they can fully cool down.
08 - Once they’ve cooled, give them another powdered sugar roll for good measure.

# Notes:

01 - You can make these up to 4 days ahead of time.
02 - Swap the nuts for bits of chocolate or even toffee if you'd like.
03 - They freeze easily!
