Creamy Parmesan Bowl (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound ground Italian sausage.
02 - 1 tablespoon of oil for cooking.
03 - 1 small chopped onion.
04 - 2 minced garlic cloves.
05 - 1 can (14.5 oz) of drained diced tomatoes.
06 - 2 quarts of chicken broth.
07 - ½ cup of cream (heavy).
08 - 1 cup of small pasta (ditalini or elbows).
09 - ½ cup of shredded Parmesan cheese.
10 - ½ teaspoon of oregano (dried).
11 - ½ teaspoon of basil (dried).
12 - Salt and pepper for seasoning.
13 - Chopped fresh parsley for topping.

# Instructions:

01 - In a large pot, warm up oil over medium heat. Cook sausage, breaking it up, then take it out of the pot.
02 - Using the same pot, cook garlic and onion until they soften and smell great.
03 - Mix tomatoes, broth, oregano, and basil into the pot. Add the sausage you cooked earlier.
04 - Let it simmer, toss in the pasta, and cook until it’s firm but done.
05 - Turn the heat down, mix in Parmesan and cream until it melts. Adjust with salt and pepper as needed.
06 - Scoop into bowls and sprinkle parsley on top.

# Notes:

01 - Tastes best right after cooking when the pasta has bite.
02 - The pasta will soak up more broth while it sits over time.
