Pineapple Meatballs (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 3 pounds of pre-cooked frozen meatballs.
02 - One 20-ounce can of pineapple chunks, toss the liquid.
03 - 2 cups of your favorite barbecue sauce.
04 - 1/4 cup of soy sauce.
05 - 1/4 cup of rice vinegar.
06 - A quarter cup of packed brown sugar.
07 - 1 tablespoon of freshly grated ginger.
08 - 3 garlic cloves, minced or grated.
09 - A couple tablespoons of chopped chives for topping.

# Instructions:

01 - Toss the frozen meatballs and pineapple into your crockpot first.
02 - In a separate bowl, stir together the barbecue sauce, soy sauce, vinegar, and brown sugar until smooth.
03 - Work the ginger and garlic into your sauce mix, stirring until they blend in evenly.
04 - Cover the meatballs with the sauce, cook them on HIGH for 2-3 hours or LOW for 5-6 hours.
05 - Scatter some chopped chives on top right before serving.

# Notes:

01 - Swap dried ginger if fresh isn’t available.
02 - Apple cider vinegar works fine as a substitute.
03 - You can serve it as a main course or a snack.
