Chocolate Mint Cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 teaspoon mint flavoring.
02 - ⅔ cup sifted powdered sugar.
03 - 1 cup softened unsalted butter.
04 - Green gel food coloring, as needed.
05 - ¾ cup tiny chocolate chips.
06 - 2¼ cups plain flour.
07 - ½ teaspoon table salt.
08 - Extra powdered sugar to dust.

# Instructions:

01 - Lay parchment paper on your baking pan. Whisk together the butter with powdered sugar until creamy.
02 - Stir in mint flavor, salt, and flour until evenly mixed. Add green coloring until you like the shade. Fold the chocolate chips in last.
03 - Scoop out dough by tablespoons, shape into balls, and arrange on the pan. Chill for half an hour.
04 - Preheat oven to 375°F. Bake cookies 7–8 minutes, just till light golden on the edges. Rest 5 minutes on the tray.
05 - Gently roll the still-warm cookies in powdered sugar. Once fully cooled, give them another light coating.
