Mini Heart Pizzas (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dough Base

01 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
02 - 1 teaspoon salt
03 - 3/4 cup warm water (not hot!)
04 - 2 cups all-purpose flour
05 - 1 teaspoon sugar
06 - 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast

→ Tomato Sauce

07 - Salt and a dash of pepper
08 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
09 - 1 cup crushed tomatoes (canned)
10 - 1 teaspoon dried oregano
11 - 1/2 teaspoon sugar

→ Pizza Toppings

12 - Optional picks: pineapple chunks, mushrooms, olives, or sliced bell peppers
13 - Pepperoni slices
14 - Mozzarella cheese (shredded)

# Instructions:

01 - Mix sugar, yeast, and warm water in a bowl. Let it rest for a few minutes until it turns bubbly and frothy.
02 - Combine olive oil, salt, and the yeast mixture into a large bowl of flour. Knead it for about 5-7 minutes until your dough feels soft and elastic. Cover it with a towel and leave it for an hour.
03 - Heat crushed tomatoes with garlic powder, oregano, sugar, a little salt, and pepper in a small pot. Simmer for 10 minutes to bring out all the flavors.
04 - Set your oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out the dough on a floured surface and use heart-shaped cutters to create mini pizza bases. Arrange them on a baking tray.
05 - Spread some sauce over each mini base, add a generous layer of mozzarella, and finish with pepperoni or any toppings you feel like.
06 - Pop the tray into the oven and bake for 8-10 minutes, until the edges are golden and the cheese is all melty and bubbly.
