01 -
Set your oven to 400°F and grease a big baking tray lightly.
02 -
Grab one piece of crescent roll dough and firmly press together the seams to form a single sheet.
03 -
Lay a sausage on the edge of the dough (halve it if it's curved), sprinkle cheese generously across the surface, and roll tightly around the sausage. Seal it by pinching the edges together.
04 -
Do the same with the second crescent sheet, but smear cream cheese on one half instead of adding the grated cheese.
05 -
Slice the rolls into pieces about ¾ of an inch thick and arrange them on the tray.
06 -
Mix the glaze ingredients in a small bowl, then brush it generously over each roll. Give it a final sprinkle of poppy seeds on top.
07 -
Pop the tray into the oven and cook for 15-18 minutes, until they’re golden and crispy.
08 -
Dish them out warm, pairing them with your choice of dips like mustard or ketchup.
