Kafta Beef Skewers (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 medium yellow onion, peeled and quartered
02 - 1 cup parsley leaves, cleaned and dried
03 - 600g ground beef, lean

→ Seasonings

04 - 1/8 tsp cayenne (or more if you want extra heat)
05 - 1/4 tsp seven spice mix
06 - 1 tsp salt
07 - 1/4 tsp ground black pepper

# Instructions:

01 - Throw parsley and onion into a processor and blitz until tiny pieces remain.
02 - Dump the minced onion-parsley mix, meat, and seasonings into a big bowl. Squish everything together using your hands.
03 - Wrap chunks of the meat mix around skewers, making them about 1 to 1.5 inches thick.
04 - Turn the gas grill to medium-high, oil the grates, and cook the kebabs for around 4 minutes per side until done.

# Notes:

01 - Dunk wooden skewers in water for about half an hour before using them.
02 - If you’re out of seven spice mix, allspice works just fine.
03 - You can shape these into patties and bake them in a 375°F oven for roughly 15-20 minutes.
04 - Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days, or freeze for 3 months.
