Hamburger Casserole Bake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 1/2 pounds ground beef.
02 - 1/2 cup sour cream.
03 - 3 tablespoons salted butter, melted.
04 - 1 tablespoon olive oil.
05 - Fresh herbs for garnish.
06 - 1 cup cottage cheese.
07 - 8 ounces cream cheese, softened.
08 - 8 ounces wide egg noodles.
09 - 1/2 cup diced onion.
10 - 1/2 green bell pepper, diced.
11 - 3/4 cup condensed tomato soup.
12 - 1 cup shredded cheese.
13 - 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce.
14 - 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, drained.

# Instructions:

01 - Turn on your oven to 350°F. Coat a 9x13 dish lightly with grease.
02 - In salted boiling water, cook noodles for 5-6 minutes, stopping before fully soft.
03 - Combine cottage cheese, cream cheese, sour cream, and the melted butter until smooth.
04 - Cook the ground beef with diced onions and peppers. Get rid of any extra fat.
05 - Stir in the diced tomatoes, condensed soup, and Worcestershire sauce into the beef mixture.
06 - Start with a layer of noodles, then cheese mix, and meat mix. Do a second set of layers. Sprinkle the top with the shredded cheese.
07 - Without a lid, bake it for 25-30 minutes until completely warmed up.

# Notes:

01 - Use plenty of salt in the water when boiling noodles.
02 - Keep noodles slightly firm, don’t cook too long.
03 - Soften all ingredients to room temp before starting.
