Garlic Butter Cauliflower (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main ingredients

01 - 1 teaspoon salt
02 - ¼ teaspoon paprika
03 - 1 head cauliflower, washed and dried completely
04 - ⅓ cup Danish Creamery salted butter, at room temperature
05 - 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped

→ For topping

06 - 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped finely, plus extra for garnish
07 - 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, shredded

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 400°F and let it heat up.
02 - Cut off the stalk at the bottom of the cauliflower and set it in a baking dish or skillet with sides that are at least two inches high.
03 - Combine softened butter, chopped garlic, paprika, and salt in a small bowl. Spread this butter mixture all over the outside of the cauliflower, making sure it's covered evenly.
04 - Loosely cover the cauliflower with foil and roast it for about 40-50 minutes. It's done when you can stick a knife into the center and it goes in easily.
05 - Drop the oven temperature to 375°F. Take off the foil, spoon some of the melted butter over the cauliflower, and sprinkle with cheese and chives. Bake uncovered for another 15 minutes, basting every 5 minutes until it looks golden and delicious.

# Notes:

01 - Keep basting with the melted butter during the last bake so it browns beautifully.
02 - Dry the cauliflower thoroughly before adding the butter so it sticks better.
03 - When it’s done, you should be able to poke the cauliflower easily with a knife.
