Cheesy Garlic Breadsticks (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1 lb of pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

→ Topping

02 - 1 and 3/4 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
03 - 1 teaspoon of dried basil or Italian herb mix
04 - 2 minced garlic cloves or 1 teaspoon garlic powder
05 - 2 tablespoons melted, unsalted butter

→ Optional

06 - Marinara sauce or pizza sauce for dipping
07 - Some cornmeal to sprinkle on the pan

# Instructions:

01 - If working with fresh dough, release air by pressing it down. Cut the dough into two equal parts (you can freeze one if not needed right now).
02 - Set your oven to 425°F to get it preheated. Stretch out the dough on either parchment paper or a floured surface to make a 9x13-inch rectangle. Blend garlic, butter, and seasonings, then coat the dough. Sprinkle mozzarella over it.
03 - Bake for 12-15 minutes, keeping an eye out for golden-brown edges. If you'd like the cheese browned, broil it for about a minute towards the end.
04 - Slice the dough into stick shapes and enjoy them as-is or dunk them in marinara sauce.

# Notes:

01 - Refrigerated leftovers last about 1 week
02 - Freeze cooked breadsticks for up to 3 months
03 - Feel free to use whatever shredded cheese you like
