French Dip Sliders (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 12 slices of provolone cheese
02 - A 12-count package of sweet Hawaiian rolls
03 - 1 pound of rare deli roast beef
04 - 2 tablespoons softened unsalted butter

→ Butter Topping

05 - A packet of au jus mix, split into portions
06 - 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds
07 - 8 tablespoons of melted unsalted butter
08 - 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
09 - ½ teaspoon onion powder
10 - ¾ teaspoon dried minced garlic

→ Optional

11 - About 1½ cups of crispy fried onions

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F. Line a 9x13 pan with parchment and butter it.
02 - Cut through all the rolls in one go, keeping them attached. Place the bottom half into your prepared pan.
03 - Start layering: half the cheese, roast beef, fried onions (if using), the rest of the cheese, and then the top layer of rolls.
04 - Stir together melted butter, a tablespoon of the au jus mix, and the remaining topping ingredients, then brush this mixture over the rolls.
05 - Leave uncovered and cook for 15-20 minutes. You'll know it's ready when the cheese is gooey, and the rolls are golden on top.
06 - Follow the package steps to heat up the leftover au jus mix with water, cooking till it's a bit thickened.

# Notes:

01 - Ask for rare roast beef so it doesn't dry out
02 - Slice the rolls intact to make assembly easier
03 - Save any leftover butter topping to brush on later
