Easy Green Bean Casserole (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base Ingredients

01 - 4 cups green beans (use your choice: 2 cans, one 16 oz of frozen, or 1½ pounds fresh)
02 - 1⅓ cups crispy onions for topping, split into two parts
03 - 1 can (10.5 ounces) of Campbell's Cream of Mushroom soup

→ Sauce Components

04 - ¼ teaspoon black pepper, or sprinkle in more as you like
05 - ½ cup milk
06 - 1 teaspoon soy sauce

# Instructions:

01 - Grab a 9x9 baking dish, and apply a generous layer of cooking spray so food won’t stick.
02 - For fresh ones, clean, chop, and blanch them in boiling water for 2 minutes. If you’re using canned beans, drain them thoroughly.
03 - Mix the cream of mushroom soup and milk in a bowl until smooth. Add soy sauce for a subtle flavor boost.
04 - Combine the green beans, ⅔ cup of crispy onions, and your sauce mixture. Throw in some pepper and stir it all up.
05 - Spread the mix evenly into your greased baking dish.
06 - Air Fryer: Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes, stir, add the rest of the onions, and air fry for 2 more minutes. Oven: Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes, stir, then sprinkle the last bit of onions on top and bake for another 5 minutes until golden brown.

# Notes:

01 - This dish already has a salty flavor, so you don’t need to add any extra. To make it less salty, switch to low-sodium soy sauce and unsalted soup.
02 - Cooking this along with other big meals? It may need more time - make sure it’s hot and ready before serving.
