                Break the Shredded Wheat into small pieces in a wide bowl. Set aside for now.

                In a pan, heat the butter and syrup gently, giving it a stir every now and then. Once the butter's melted, take the pan off the heat and mix in the chopped chocolate until it's smooth and melted.

                Drizzle the melted chocolate mixture over the crushed cereal. Stir it well so it's evenly coated.

                Scoop out portions onto a baking tray lined with parchment. Shape into nests using a spoon or scoop, then pop a few Easter candies on top of each.

                Put the tray in the fridge and let the nests firm up completely.
