Crockpot Peanut Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/2 large yellow onion, chopped up.
02 - 1 teaspoon sesame oil.
03 - 2 garlic cloves, minced.
04 - 1 red bell pepper, cut into small pieces.
05 - 1 tablespoon lime juice.
06 - 1 tablespoon honey.
07 - 1.5 pounds chicken breasts.
08 - 1/4 cup soy sauce.
09 - 1 teaspoon chili garlic paste.
10 - 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter.
11 - 1/2 cup chicken broth.
12 - 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro for garnish.

# Instructions:

01 - Scatter onion, red pepper, and garlic across the bottom of the slow cooker.
02 - Place the chicken breasts right on top of the veggies.
03 - Mix together the peanut butter, soy sauce, broth, honey, sesame oil, and chili garlic paste in a bowl.
04 - Drizzle the prepared sauce over the chicken in the cooker.
05 - Set the cooker to HIGH for 2-3 hours, or LOW for 4-5 hours.
06 - Right before you serve, stir in lime juice and sprinkle with fresh cilantro.

01 - Can use high or low heat to cook.
02 - Pick a simple, natural creamy peanut butter.
03 - Add lime juice and cilantro last to keep flavors fresh.
