Sweet Crispy Brussels (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 8 slices of bacon.
02 - 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
03 - About 2 pounds of brussels sprouts.
04 - A tablespoon of honey.
05 - A drizzle of cider or balsamic vinegar.
06 - A few fresh thyme sprigs.
07 - Salt and black pepper as needed.

# Instructions:

01 - Set the oven to 200°C (about 400°F) so it heats up while you prep.
02 - Chop off stems, pull off any outer leaves that look bad, and slice sprouts in half.
03 - On a sheet pan, combine halves of sprouts, bacon bits, thyme, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
04 - Arrange sprouts with the cut sides facing down for browning.
05 - Slide into the oven and cook for about 15 minutes.
06 - Combine your honey with the vinegar in a tiny bowl until smooth.
07 - Drizzle the honey-vinegar mix on the cooked sprouts. Give them a toss to coat evenly.
08 - Put the sprouts back into the oven for another 10 minutes, then broil for just a minute until crispy.

# Notes:

01 - Flip sprout halves so the cut side is touching the pan to crisp better.
02 - Avoid stuffing too many pieces onto one pan.
03 - Swap out cider for balsamic vinegar if you'd like.
