Creamy Chicken Skillet (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 tablespoon Italian herbs.
02 - 1/2 cup parmesan, grated.
03 - 1/2 cup roasted red peppers, chopped.
04 - 2 teaspoons freshly cracked black pepper.
05 - 1 medium white onion, finely chopped.
06 - 2 pounds chicken, sliced into thin strips.
07 - 1/2 cup brined pepperoncini, drained.
08 - 2 tablespoons butter, softened.
09 - 1/2 cup chicken broth.
10 - 1 cup thick cream.
11 - 1 teaspoon sea salt.
12 - 2 large garlic cloves, minced.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat butter in a big sturdy pan over medium heat.
02 - Coat chicken with salt and pepper, cook until browned (8 mins), then set aside.
03 - Sauté diced onions and garlic until golden, roughly 5 minutes.
04 - Pour in chicken broth and toss in red peppers. Simmer till reduced by half (5 mins).
05 - Turn the heat off. Stir in parmesan and cream till smooth.
06 - Bring it back to low heat, mix pepperoncini, chicken, and seasonings. Cook until chicken is fully done at 165°F.

# Notes:

01 - You can add more broth to thin out the sauce if it’s too thick.
02 - Perfect served over pasta, steamed veggies, or even rice.
03 - Slice or leave pepperoncini whole—it’s up to you.
