Brownie Cookies Meltaway (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/4 teaspoon table salt.
02 - 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder.
03 - 1 cup all-purpose flour.
04 - 1/2 cup butter (unsalted).
05 - 1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet).
06 - 3/4 cup white sugar.
07 - 1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring.
08 - 2 large eggs.
09 - 1/2 teaspoon baking powder.
10 - Powdered sugar for topping.
11 - A pinch of flaky sea salt for garnish.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat chocolate and butter in short bursts in the microwave until melted. Stir until it’s smooth.
02 - Beat together sugar, vanilla, and eggs until fluffy. Pour in the melted chocolate mixture.
03 - Combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt, then give it a quick mix.
04 - Carefully fold the dry mix into the wet ingredients until it’s just blended—don’t overdo it.
05 - Pop the dough in the fridge and let it chill for at least an hour.
06 - Preheat the oven to 350°F and line your baking sheets with parchment paper.
07 - Spoon out tablespoons of dough onto the sheets, leaving some space between them.
08 - Bake for 10-12 minutes. The tops should crack, and the centers should stay soft.

# Notes:

01 - Take the cookies out slightly early for gooey centers.
02 - Cold dough is much easier to handle.
03 - Optional toppings make for a tasty contrast.
