Brown Butter Banana (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 teaspoon almond extract.
02 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
03 - 1 cup light brown sugar.
04 - ½ cup festive sprinkles.
05 - 1 large egg.
06 - ½ cup unsalted butter, browned.
07 - 3-4 mashed bananas that are really ripe.
08 - 1 teaspoon baking powder.
09 - ¼ teaspoon salt.
10 - ¼ cup whole milk.
11 - 2 cups of regular all-purpose flour.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat the butter in a medium pot on medium heat for about 5-10 minutes. Stir occasionally until you notice a golden color and a nutty smell. Set aside to cool for 5-10 minutes.
02 - In a mixing bowl, combine the brown sugar with the cooled butter. Stir in the bananas, milk, extracts, and egg until smooth.
03 - Carefully blend the flour, salt, and baking powder into the wet mixture. Just mix enough so it's combined—don't stir too much.
04 - Add most of the sprinkles into the batter but save a little for decoration. Pour into a greased loaf pan and spread the remaining sprinkles on top.
05 - Cook in an oven at 350°F for 60-70 minutes. To check if it’s done, poke the center with a toothpick—if it comes out clean, it’s ready.
06 - Let the bread cool in the pan for about 30 minutes before slicing it up.

# Notes:

01 - If you're in a hurry, you can swap browned butter for melted butter.
02 - Letting the loaf cool fully in the pan really helps with the texture.
