Blueberry Mint Drink (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Blueberry Lime Syrup

01 - 1 cup water
02 - 2 1/2 cups fresh blueberries
03 - 1 cup sugar (white)
04 - 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice

→ Mocktail

05 - 1 can sparkling water or club soda
06 - 1/4 cup whole blueberries, fresh
07 - 10 mint leaves, fresh
08 - 2-3 tablespoons of blueberry-lime syrup
09 - Ice cubes
10 - 1 sprig of mint for topping
11 - 1/2 lime, chopped into small chunks

# Instructions:

01 - In a saucepan, mix the blueberries, sugar, water, and lime juice. Heat until it boils, then lower heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Pour through a fine sieve to strain and let the liquid cool down completely.
02 - Grab a tall glass and mash the lime pieces with the syrup using a muddler. Gently press in the mint leaves but don't overdo it.
03 - Toss in the blueberries, then pack the glass with ice. Pour in sparkling water or soda and stir lightly so everything blends together.
04 - Clap your mint sprig between your hands to release its scent, then pop it on as a finishing touch.

# Notes:

01 - This is a cool, booze-free twist on a mojito, bringing in mint and fresh blueberries.
02 - The syrup makes roughly 2 cups and can be kept in your fridge for later use.
03 - Stick to fresh ingredients, and don't mix too much to keep it nice and pretty.
