Mix the soy sauce, honey, cornstarch, rice wine vinegar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil in a big mixing bowl. Stir until smooth and blended.

In a large skillet, toss broccoli florets with water. Cover with a tight lid and let them steam on medium heat for 5 minutes. Use a slotted spoon to move the broccoli onto a plate. Wipe the pan out.

Pour avocado oil into the skillet and warm over medium-high heat. Toss in the ground beef and onion, cooking for roughly 7 minutes until the beef is mostly browned.

Pour the sauce into the skillet with the beef and cook until it thickens and glazes the meat. Toss in the steamed broccoli and stir until it's all mixed together.

Spoon everything over warm rice and serve while hot.
