Hot Honey Baked Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Chicken

01 - 2 teaspoons all-purpose seasoning (store-bought or homemade)
02 - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
03 - 1 tablespoon olive oil, extra virgin
04 - 1 teaspoon sea salt
05 - 2 lbs chicken breasts, organic

→ Hot Honey Sauce

06 - 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
07 - 4 minced garlic cloves
08 - 1 teaspoon chili powder
09 - Pinch of sea salt
10 - ½ teaspoon garlic powder
11 - 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
12 - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
13 - 6 tablespoons butter, unsalted
14 - 1 cup honey, organic and raw

# Instructions:

01 - Give the chicken some flavor by rubbing the olive oil and spices all over. Make small cuts in the top, about an inch apart. Chill for at least 3 hours if you’ve got time.
02 - Preheat the oven to 400°F. Cover a baking tray with parchment. Space the chicken pieces out on the sheet for even cooking.
03 - Melt the butter and cook minced garlic in it until the aroma hits. Add the honey along with all the spices, and blend it well while heating. Take it off the stove once it thickens.
04 - Pour half the sauce on top of the chicken and slide it into the oven. Let it bake for around 30 to 35 minutes until it’s golden and cooked through.
05 - Once it’s out of the oven and slightly cooled, drizzle the rest of the sauce on the chicken before eating.

# Notes:

01 - You can prep everything ahead of time and store it for up to 2 days.
02 - Leftovers stay fresh in the fridge for 3-4 days.
03 - This also works for thighs, drumsticks, or tenders.
04 - To make your own all-purpose spice, use basic pantry spices.
