Honey Mustard Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 tablespoon cornstarch
02 - 1/2 cup chicken broth
03 - 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
04 - 1/4 cup honey
05 - 4 chicken breasts without skin or bones

→ Seasonings

06 - Fresh parsley, chopped for topping
07 - Garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon
08 - Salt and cracked black pepper to suit your taste

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat to 400°F (200°C) and move the rack higher for even cooking.
02 - Place the chicken breasts in a 9x13 dish, keeping them spread out. Dust them with some garlic, plus salt and pepper.
03 - Bake the seasoned chicken for 10 minutes in the preheated oven without covering it.
04 - While the chicken bakes, mix cornstarch with honey, mustard, and chicken broth. Stir until smooth and lump-free.
05 - Bring the chicken out and spread that sauce all over every piece.
06 - Pop it back into the oven for 15-20 more minutes, or until the middle hits 165°F.
07 - Let it settle for 5 minutes. Drizzle the sauce over the chicken and toss some parsley on top. Want more flavor? Adjust the seasonings.

# Notes:

01 - Turn plain chicken breasts into a sweet and tangy dish with honey and Dijon.
02 - You can use another mustard if you like, but Dijon’s sharpness really balances the honey well.
