Heat the oven to 350°F. Spray some oil on an 8-inch round pan or springform pan.

Toast some sliced almonds on a small baking sheet for 4-5 minutes. Keep an eye on them so they don’t burn. Let them cool off.

Stir the almond flour, salt, and baking powder together in a medium bowl.

Mix eggs, maple syrup, oil, almond extract, and vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl until smooth.

Gradually combine the wet and dry mixtures, and keep stirring until it’s all mixed well.

Pour the mixture into the pan. Spread the toasted almonds evenly across the top.

Cook for about 20-25 minutes or until the top is golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
